Phan of Life Designs
P.O.L.D. began as many small business ideas do, a tiny spark!
As an aspiring artist the past several years, my mind was constantly being pulled in several creative directions at once. Having found exhilarating but limited success making and selling my original hand painted Dotillism art as Phan of Life Studios, I felt the urge to expand! I absolutely ADORE painting and making beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces of art using thousands of dots, HOWEVER, it can be quite time consuming as one might imagine!
I began to long for a way to continue creating original art, but in a manner that was less labor intensive and physical for that matter! I knew there must be a form of art I could create that would allow me to build a substantial inventory in far less time... Enter the world of Graphic Design! I'd had the desire to learn graphic design and vector art for several years and this seemed like the perfect time and opportunity to do so! In early 2022, I made it my mission to learn and teach myself as much as I could about this form of art and design creation. It has been difficult and frustrating at times of course, but I knew that if I could learn this style of art I could go on to larger and greater things.
And Phan of Life Designs was born! In a calculated effort to differentiate my hand painted art I sell as Phan of Life Studios, I developed Phan of Life Designs. I have been blessed with the most amazing support of my art by friends and loved ones in my life, so I knew I wanted and needed to maintain the continuity of being recognized as "Phan of Life"!
I am extremely excited about the concept I have created with POLD, with a mission of bringing beautiful, timeless and soul moving art into your homes! It is my hope that you will find pieces that resonate with your heart that you can proudly display as additions to your unique and personal home decor style! I look forward to growing further and flourishing within this new business venture of mine, while helping to support my family as well. I *may* even use POLD as a way to support my music and travel bug habits too ;)
